On another note, very late in the evening, on Friday night, one of my cats came inside covered in blood. We ran him to an emergency vet. He had been run over by a car and the damage was severe. Without a considerable amount of money and with no guarantees that he could be saved, I had to have him put to sleep. Frankie was only two years old.
